The position
By joining our team in Exploration & Production International you will have the opportunity to:- Propose changes in practices and plans to improve reliability and efficiency, including needs of spare parts/ consumables, and identify deviations from standard operational conditions and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage competence requirements fulfillment for the team in alignment with contractors company reps and ensure that vendors and contractors work safely and effectively, according to the values and culture of the company.
- Ensure that maintenance management is followed by identifying and reporting malfunctions in SAP, executing work orders and providing proper conclusion feedback. Collaborating to maintenance plan review.
- Contribute and stimulate others to participate in the company safety initiatives. Actively use the company management system and working tools such as Permit Vision and Synergi.
- Participate in the commissioning phase of new projects, inside or outside Brazil.
- Be responsible for executing field activities, troubleshooting and leading mechanical team members to maintain systems and equipment operational and reliable.
- Participate actively in the maintenance of GTG, Combined Cycle Turbines, diesel engines, pumps, gas compressors, air compressors, cranes, HVAC units and hydraulic equipment.
- Elaborate technical reports concerning fault reports, improvement proposals and work executed.

- Preferably a Mechanical Engineer or required technical degree with emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent, with active CFT or CREA
- Minimum 3 years as a Lead Mechanic on board production facilities or 6 years of experience working as Mechanical Technician onboard production facilities can be considered.
- Good verbal and written Portuguese language skills and desirable.
- Efficient in use of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP, and efficient in using office package.
- Strong technical knowledge and maintenance of HVAC system, rotating equipment, Hydraulic Systems, Cranes and Diesel engines.
- Technical knowledge to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
- Embraces cooperation and open collaboration as essential ways of working. Proactive by nature, takes initiative and can work independently as needed. Gives and receives constructive feedback and is motivated by continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with gas compression systems, Hydraulic equipment, and diesel engines (Cummins, Caterpillar) and Cranes.
